About Layla
Layla Jean is a precious four-year old bundle of love, empathy, and strength. Layla marches to the beat of her own drum, which anyone who knows her can tell you by her love of sparkling boots, wearing anything and everything rainbow-colored, and her determination to keep her wild blonde hair untamed. She loves copying her mom’s make-up routine and watching TV with her dad in his sports garage. Layla is a role-model to two older sisters – Harlow (2) and Colette (9 months) – and you can often find Harlow following behind in Layla’s steps and mimicking her actions.
Layla loves to be outdoors, and she lives by the saying, “dirty feet, it’s a great day.” You can often find Layla driving boats in the summer just like her Grandpa Dan. Recently, Layla started 4-K at Parkview Elementary School and loves her teachers and all her new friends she has met there. This October, Layla started Taekwondo, and we all look forward to getting her back to her dojang soon, so she can go get her black belt. Layla is surrounded and dearly loved by her parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless friends, for whom she acts as a beacon of joy, positivity, and love.
